Promotion of ESIS II / Jordan / Presentation to Jordan Computer Society

An event was organized in Amman on October 6, 1999 by Transjordan for Communication Services, where a presentation was given to the members of the Jordan Computer Society about the ESIS II project and its benefits for the Jordanian society. The event was successful the attendance was around 50 people from different public and private organizations (computer companies, networking companies, universities, high schools, ministries, etc) as well as journalists. A presentation of about one-hour was given by Mr. Aass Hindawi and Mr. Ahmad Shrouf, presenting the questionnaire, the reports and all other activities of the ESIS II project.

The press release prepared by the European Commission, was translated to Arabic and distributed by our Jordanian partner to the local press.
