Bosnia and Herzegovina is still recovering from the consequences of war. There are immense activities in both reconstruction and rebuilding of the major facilities in the field of transportation, energy, and infrastructure damaged during the war. Consequently, there are no IS activities in the well-defined terms. It is hoped that the ESIS project will initiate the beginning of such IS activities.

There are changes in the few ministries in the Republic of Srpska, and below is given a selection of the actual ministers, as well as the representatives in the joint BH Presidency and the Assembly. There are no changes in the government of the Federation BiH.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications in the Republic of Srpska is officially responsible for telecoms and information society. The Minister is Mr Marko Pavic.
