Update October 1999: Algeria

During the last three months the Internet Association of Algeria , ISA was created under the support of Cerist : the ISA president being Mr Moussa Benhamadi.

Furthermore, TDA, Algerian Tele diffusion, GECOS, BMG International, ORNET, IMTIAGE Technology and ICOSNET has been authorised to act as legal new Internet service providers. The Ministry has delivered their licence on 16th August 1999.
