A major government
reshuffle took place on November 17 1999, after the
victory of Mr. Zine El Abidine Ben Ali to the presidential
elections held on October 24th 1999.

After presidential elections, the
re-elected President of the Tunisian Republic Mr. Zine El Abidine
Ben Ali decided a major government reshuffle in mid-November. It
included the naming of a new Prime Minister and several new
ministers.
