Update January 2000: Algeria

CERIST organised an information day on ‘Electronic Commerce’ on the 31st October and participated in CONNEXXION ’99, a special event on ICT and TechMedia (6-11 November, Algiers).

Some regional exhibitions took place :

SIFTHECH Sud (October in Ouargla),
SIFTHECH Oran (28 November to 2 December)
and a ‘Computing and Advanced technologies Exhibition’ organised by Mantouri University of Constantine (October 1999).
