Update Memo

The following report outlines new developments in the past three months and the state of on-going developments.

The Cypriot House of the Representatives was closed from July 14 until October 7. Thus, no new legislation has been introduced or discussed.

Furthermore, during an interview with a representative of the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority, it was confirmed that no new steps towards liberalization or deregulation of the telecommunications were taken. During the same interview, the Authority’s representative said that no developments were recorded regarding the Authority’s relevant actions and measures.
