![]() Update: Albania |
The total number of existing ISP is 12. In Albania only 10 companies have websites, of which 6 are private companies, 1 public institution and 3 donor's institutions. Usually, these websites support only one organization or subject, and not multiple ones. However, because of the lower level of Internet service development, many institutions actually do not have websites. It is very common that members of an organization have no other website, apart from the organization web site.

Because of competition, there are no longer any free of charge Internet service providers, except the SOROS foundation which provides such services for NGOs, educational institutions, etc. Thus, private ISPs are more attractive to private subjects and NGO-s. In the coming months, the number of websites is likely to increase.
