![]() Update: Jordan |
Recently, a trend in the governmental web sites within Jordan has been noticed. A few months ago, most of the official web pages could be found under the Jordanian National Information Centre (www.nic.gov.jo), but now each ministry seems to be creating its own website with a unique Internet address under the .gov.jo domain. Apparently, the number ministerial websites have been decreased during this transition period, but it is estimated that each Ministry will occupy a unique space on the Internet by the end of the year. Recently, there was a restructuring of the Jordanian cabinet; therefore, below you will find an updated list of the relevant links to these Ministries.
A few more University websites have been discovered recently. These websites are: Al-Isra Private University (www.irsa.edu.jo), Zarka Private University (www.zarka-university.com), Philadelphia University (www.philadelphia.edu.jo), University of Petra (www.uop.edu.jo) and Princess Sumaya University College for Technology (www.psuct.edu.jo). Additionally, three university websites have been reported currently unavailable (Al-Zaytoonah University, Amman Private University and Yarmouk University), however this is considered a temporary situation therefore we still have included them in the relevant figure.
There are no official websites of Jordanian museums, but only a few scattered informative web pages in various Arabic Internet portals and unofficial websites.
