Update: FYR Macedonia

Reduced number of Ministries from 21 to 14

On July 28th 2000 the Government of the Republic of Macedonia was restructured. Instead of 21, the new Government is composed of 14 ministries.

This restructuring of the Government is in compliance with the adoption of the Law on organisation and mission of the state administrative bodies.

* There are two Universities, University of Skopje and University of Bitola with 27 Faculties (14 of them have their own homepages) and 5 additional high schools.
