![]() Overview: Syria |
The primary World-Wide-Web sites within Syria are provided by either individual Syrian newspapers or by Syrian State Ministries. An important development is the creation of the Syrian Computer Society (SCS) http://www.scs-syria.com/ in 1989, which acts as a catalyst for national web-sites by creating the first organisational website enriched later on with hyperlinks to other major Syrian websites.
